Cyclical, Cyclical

Written in 2025/OCT – (edited 2025/DEC)

there is nothing new in nature
every bloom, you’ve had to wait for
contradictions are typical
it’s all cyclical, cyclical

each year has been split in four
every season’s a metaphor
spring is growth, and the winter’s war
it’s all been said before, said before
it’s all cyclical, cyclical

our behaviours remain primatial
our drive to survive can get fatal
clear skies transition to rainfall
it’s all been said before, said before
it doesn’t change at all, change at all
contradictions are typical
it’s all cyclical, cyclical

it’s all cyclical, cyclical

About Me

I’m Jacqueline and I’m originally from Western Australia but now I live in Adelaide. I advocate for Australians living with FND, and I hope to return to live poetry performance in the future.

I made this blog because I wanted to share my poems with other people. I’m also working on longer projects, but this website is just for my smaller projects at the moment.

I hope to make a living out of writing someday which is why I’ve put the donation button on this website.
